Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Payrix team and help shape the future of global commerce.

You will own end-to-end QA activities across the SDLC, including test strategy, planning, and release validation. In this hybrid role, you will design and maintain Playwright automation in JavaScript/TypeScript, integrate tests into CI/CD, and validate payment processing workflows across integrated systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software quality assurance/testing experience.
• Hands-on test automation with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) and CI/CD integration.
• Strong QA methodologies including risk-based testing and release readiness.
• Experience testing REST APIs, backend services, and data flows.
• Experience in payments/fintech domain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end QA activities across the SDLC including test strategy, planning, risk/impact analysis, functional, integration, regression, API, and release validation.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, focusing on scalable and reusable automation integrated into CI/CD.
• Validate payment processing workflows including authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, voids, declines, and exceptions across integrated systems.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Automation, and other QA teams to ensure test coverage and acceptance criteria are testable.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA practices by analyzing defects and improving regression and automation coverage.
