Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated to test automation development
• Proficiency in Java as a core programming language with hands-on automated web testing experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills across engineering, product, and platform teams

Responsibilities

• Shape user stories, define acceptance criteria, and design risk-based test scenarios within an agile team
• Contribute to estimation, test strategy, and feasibility assessments identifying quality risks, automation needs, and dependencies
• Build, maintain, and scale robust automated test suites for web and API layers using Java, Selenium, Playwright, and modern test frameworks
• Drive shift-left testing, service virtualization, and CI/CD pipeline integrations for rapid feedback and defect prevention
• Develop and utilize service virtualization, mocks, and test data strategies to validate functionality efficiently across dependent systems
• Apply data-driven problem-solving and AI-assisted tools to optimize test design, coverage, and troubleshooting
• Promote consistent engineering and quality best practices across the team

• Shape user stories, define acceptance criteria, and design risk-based test scenarios within an agile team
• Contribute to estimation, test strategy, and feasibility assessments by identifying quality risks, automation needs, and dependencies early in the planning process
• Build, maintain, and scale robust automated test suites for web and API layers using Java, Selenium, Playwright, and modern test frameworks
• Drive shift-left testing, service virtualization, and CI/CD pipeline integrations for rapid feedback and defect prevention
• Develop and utilize service virtualization, mocks, and test data strategies to validate functionality efficiently across dependent systems
• Apply data-driven problem-solving and leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to optimize test design, test coverage, troubleshooting, and overall engineering productivity

Requirements

• 7+ years of QA experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated to test automation development, including hands-on scripting and framework building
• Proficiency in Java as a core programming language, combined with hands-on experience designing and maintaining automated tests for web applications using tools such as Selenium and Playwright
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and platform teams
• Comfort working through ambiguity, thinking abstractly, and iterating quickly in a collaborative agile environment
• Demonstrated commitment to automation-first quality engineering practices (maintainable test design, CI/CD quality gates, and continuous improvement)
• Knowledge of AI-assisted engineering or testing tools is preferred, especially where used to improve test design, accelerate troubleshooting, or enhance engineering productivity
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
• Experience in mobile testing is a plus
