Job summary

DualEntry is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to build the QA function from the ground up for its AI‑first accounting SaaS. You will own the testing pyramid, design test strategies across UI, API, and integrations, and drive reliable releases at scale.

You will ship fast with ownership, push for pragmatic solutions, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams. This remote‑first role includes equity, visa sponsorship, 27 PTO days, and a potential relocation path to NYC to join the team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software QA, focused on SaaS/web applications.
• Experience with UI and API testing at scale.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, AWS and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong grasp of bug reporting (Jira), test management (TestRail), and tools like Selenium/Cypress/Playwright.
• Knowledge of performance testing, database testing and monitoring (Datadog a plus).
• Product intuition and user empathy, with critical thinking on testability.
• Ability to manage complex systems with evolving requirements.
• Fluent in English (C1+) with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead QA practices for a new AI‑first SaaS platform.
• Design and execute test strategies across UI, API and integrations.
• Build and maintain test case management and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure quality at every stage.
• Own bug reporting, triage and release validation.
• Lay the foundation for future automated QA testing and CI/CD integration.
• Drive user experience improvements.
