Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for Interactivity to lead validation strategy for real-time interaction systems. You will architect high-level automation for end-to-end interaction flows and drive scalability across mobile, desktop, VR, and web platforms.

You will collaborate with engineering to influence design decisions, manage offshore teams, and establish testing standards. Equity compensation and benefits are provided for full-time roles based in our San Mateo office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience with game engines or real-time systems.
• Strong automation architecture and testing strategy.
• Proficient in Lua or similar scripting languages and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the validation strategy for real-time interaction systems.
• Architect end-to-end automation for critical interaction flows.
• Lead cross-platform validation across mobile, desktop, VR, and web.
• Collaborate with engineering to influence design and tooling choices.
• Mentor offshore team members and standardize test documentation.
