Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the App Test team in San Mateo, CA. You will design, build, and scale tools that power end-to-end testing across Roblox platforms, helping engineers deliver high-quality experiences faster.

You will evolve our platform toward AI-native testing, enabling intelligent test authoring, selection, and failure triage while collaborating across multiple engineering domains.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, testing, and operating production software.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, Go, or another modern programming language.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale test automation infrastructure across Roblox platforms.
• Advance the AI-native test lifecycle with intelligent tooling.
• Develop test orchestration and intelligence for planning and execution.
• Enable intelligent test selection balancing coverage, timing, and cost.
• Shift quality earlier by integrating automated checks into CI/CD workflows.
• Drive projects end to end from problem definition to production deployment.
