Job summary

Axiado is seeking a Senior QA Engineer – Performance & Reliability to lead performance characterization and reliability validation of our Secure TCU System. You will design tests, run benchmarks, and collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to identify bottlenecks and ensure system robustness.

You will own MTBF predictions, long-duration tests, and analysis, while developing automated testing frameworks and dashboards to monitor trends for data-center-grade deployments.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded system testing experience.
• Experience with performance verification and reliability engineering.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation; C/C++ is a plus.
• Strong Linux/Unix, kernel tuning, monitoring, and log analysis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Git.
• Knowledge of PCIe, DDR memory, RoT, and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans for performance benchmarking, stress testing, longevity testing, and thermal/power characterization of TCU/BMC systems.
• Analyze system behavior under heavy workloads to identify performance bottlenecks in throughput, latency, and resource utilization.
• Conduct MTBF prediction, long-duration stability tests, and error injection campaigns to validate system robustness.
• Lead deep-dive investigations of performance degradation and reliability failures using advanced debugging tools.
• Collaborate with firmware and hardware engineers to reproduce complex bugs and verify fixes.
• Develop and maintain automated performance testing frameworks and dashboards to track regression and trends.
• Generate detailed performance assessment reports and reliability metrics for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers on performance testing methodologies and system debugging techniques.
