Job summary

Ampcus Inc is seeking a Performance Engineer to drive performance testing across our Byte Platform offerings. You will work on complex distributed systems, databases and large clustered datasets, optimizing overall product performance.

The role collaborates with Development, Quality Engineering and Product teams to deliver high‑quality initiatives throughout the development lifecycle. Ideal candidates will have hands‑on experience with performance analysis, tooling, and building custom analysis

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Engineering, Support, Product Management and DevOps to review requirements, execute performance tests and troubleshoot issues.
• Design and execute performance test strategies for projects with unique purposes.
• Analyze test results and model response time, throughput, SLA and other metrics.
• Develop performance tooling and processes to reflect real-world scenarios.
• Identify bottlenecks across hardware, software, network and disk IO and document predictions.
• Communicate results to cross-functional teams and guide other QE teams on test plans.
