Copper River Family of Companies seeks a QA Engineer - Fabrication to lead quality management across multiple marine fabrication programs. You will oversee ISO 9001 processes, contract quality adherence, and the development of plans, procedures, and KPI reporting for continuous improvement.

The role requires broad experience in fabrication and customer-facing quality assurance. You will coordinate with project teams, vendors, and customers, perform inspections, and drive non-conformance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction-related field; 5 years may substitute.
• 7 years of combined fabrication, management, production, and operations experience in marine manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction documents, including 3D models.
• Excellent written and oral communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with clients, naval architects, engineers, project and program managers, vendors, and sub-contractors.
• Experience leading and developing others with a team approach; proficient with MS Office suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word).
• Possess a valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a passport; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Manage and support ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Ensure adherence to approved contract documents for all QA elements.
• Develop, implement, and oversee process improvements and procedures.
• Develop, implement, and manage test plans and reports.
• Read and interpret contracts, statements of work, and technical specs for quality requirements.
• Oversee calibration guidelines for tools, equipment, and processes.
• Identify and document work discrepancies and conflicts.
• Perform visual and non-destructive inspections of aluminum and steel weldments.
