Job summary

Apache Fabricators is seeking an experienced QC Inspector to support quality control activities across subsea equipment, skids, modules, and fabricated assemblies. The QC Inspector will perform inspections throughout the fabrication process to ensure compliance with project specs and engineering requirements.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in fabrication or manufacturing, strong knowledge of welding, dimensional inspections, and quality documentation, and a drive for accurate reporting and safe

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QC inspection experience in fabrication, manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial environments.
• Experience inspecting weldments, structural steel, skids, modules, piping, or fabricated assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding procedures, and dimensional inspections.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of welded components, assemblies and fit-up.
• Conduct dimensional inspections to verify drawings and tolerances.
• Interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, weld maps, and specifications.
• Verify material traceability and maintain inspection records.
• Ensure fabrication activities meet customer specs and quality requirements.
• Identify non-conforming conditions and assist in corrective actions.
• Coordinate with fabrication teams on quality concerns.
• Assist turnover packages, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Support customer inspections and third-party audits as required.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with safety policies.
