Job summary

Hart InterCivic Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to design, develop, and execute test processes across election technology products, including voting devices, desktop apps, and embedded systems.

You will work with QA, hardware, software, and product teams to create robust test strategies, report quality metrics, and ensure certification readiness with clear communication of risks and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IT/EE or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on QA/software testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes requirements and develops test strategies.
• Plans, creates, maintains, and executes test plans and cases.
• Performs functional, integration, regression, and security testing.
• Prepares formal test reports for internal/external audiences.
• Documents defects with reproduction steps and evidence.
• Collaborates with QA, Engineering, PM, and leadership.
• Configures test labs and environments; travel occasionally.
• Uses Quality Center/ALM or Jira for traceability.
