Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in QA or software testing.
• Strong manual testing, test execution, and defect tracking.
• Ability to design, maintain, and execute test cases.
• Experience testing APIs, databases, or integrated systems.
• Familiar with Jira, Git, and QA tools.
• Exposure to test automation, scripting, or regression testing.
• Experience validating hardware, firmware, or software-hardware integrations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to help deliver reliable, high-quality election technology. You will design, document, and execute test cases that validate software functionality, performance, reliability, and integrated system behavior.

In this role, you will perform hands-on manual testing, identify and document defects, support regression testing, review requirements and specifications, and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and continuously improve our quality practices.

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
• Strong manual testing, test execution, and defect-tracking experience
• Ability to create, maintain, and execute clear, thorough test cases
• Experience testing APIs, databases, or integrated software systems is a plus
• Familiarity with Jira, Git, test-management tools, and QA best practices
• Exposure to test automation, scripting, or regression testing is preferred
• Experience validating hardware, firmware, peripherals, or software-hardware integrations is a plus
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
