Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience testing embedded systems, hardware/software products, or other complex technical systems.
• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating QA, testing, validation, or quality engineering teams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret requirements, logs, diagnostics, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience with manual and automated testing; embedded Linux, C/C++, industrial communications, test automation frameworks, or utility-related products is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small QA/Test team, providing technical guidance, workload coordination, and support for professional development.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities for embedded systems, industrial electronics, firmware, software applications, and user-facing tools.
• Develop, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and quality documentation to support new and existing products.
• Partner with engineering, product management, manufacturing, field service, and technical support teams to identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and improve product quality.
• Evaluate release readiness through defect reviews, regression testing, root cause analysis, and quality metrics while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
