Job summary

Southern Ohio Cleanup Company LLC is seeking an experienced software QA tester to support enterprise applications under limited supervision, focusing on testing and automation to support business objectives.

You will work with project managers, developers, and DBAs, design and execute automated tests, and help build UAT reports. Candidates should be proficient in SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and .Net, and be familiar with Agile SDLC; safety and regulatory training may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with designing, building, executing, and documenting automated tests.
• Strong understanding of Agile SDLC and testing processes.
• Familiar with programming logic and structure, in particular SQL, JavaScript, HTML and .Net.
• Ability to orchestrate and build reports of user acceptance testing.
• Identify and report on system deficiencies and potential enhancements found during testing.
• Present testing results in a concise and focused manner.
• Lead and mentor other members of the testing team.
• Maintain knowledge of testing standards and practices and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analysis, design, integration, adaptation, and testing of system applications to support business objectives.
• Test various applications developed with different programming languages and platforms.
• Understand, document, and adhere to test processes, workflows, and procedures.
• Work with project managers, system owners, developers, DBAs, and other test engineers to define acceptance criteria.
• Create or review manuals, procedures, and related testing documentation.
• Present testing results to stakeholders in a concise, focused manner.
