emerchantpay ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our IT team. The role focuses on building robust test strategies for cloud-native systems and APIs, with emphasis on automation, AI-assisted testing, and MCP-enabled workflows across microservices.

You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and analysts to ensure high-quality, scalable software delivery in a remote-friendly environment. Excellent English communication is essential.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• 3+ years in automated testing; developer profiles welcome.
• Experience with Ruby, Rails, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or other programming languages used for test automation.
• Strong test design, execution, defect reporting, regression testing, and release validation.
• Hands-on with test automation tools and frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
• API testing and API automation using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP/REST, HTML/CSS, JS).
• Strong AWS knowledge; cloud-native systems testing.
• Experience using AI tools in QA activities.
• Experience with MCP-enabled tools (Playwright MCP, Atlassian MCP).
• Ability to analyze complex systems and define testing strategies.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
