Job summary

Arionkoder is seeking a senior Software QA Engineer to validate business requirements, design risk-based tests, and drive quality across web apps, APIs, and backend services. You will implement Playwright UI tests, validate data integrity, and perform root-cause analysis on issues using logs and telemetry.

You will partner with Product Managers and Engineers in Agile ceremonies to identify risks early and improve CI/CD, observability, and QA tooling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in software QA or testing roles.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and Agile practices.
• Experience testing web apps, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Playwright for UI test automation.
• Experience validating API requests/responses and data integrity.
• Ability to perform impact analysis and define regression scope.
• Understanding of SOA and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
• Knowledge of accessibility, security, or compliance testing.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, Bruno).
• Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience with observability, logging, distributed tracing, and APM.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in deployments.
• Performance, load, and resilience testing with tools like JMeter/k6.
• Contributed to automation frameworks and reusable QA tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute risk-based testing strategies across web apps and APIs.
• Develop and maintain UI tests using Playwright and other automation tools.
• Validate API requests/responses and enforce data integrity across services.
• Document defects and perform root-cause analysis on production issues.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers in Agile ceremonies to uncover risks.
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements, observability, and quality engineering standards.
