Job summary

Onterris, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Director for its Orange Laboratory to lead QA activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across testing processes.

The role oversees the QA/QC program, accreditation readiness, and data integrity to deliver trusted results. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in environmental QA leadership, strong knowledge of TNI and EPA requirements, and proven ability to mentor teams while partnering with operations to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science or related field; master’s preferred.
• Minimum five years of QA experience in an environmental lab with leadership exposure.
• Experience ensuring compliance with accrediting bodies (TNI, etc.).
• Technical expertise in environmental testing methods and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA team, foster responsiveness, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with lab director and ops to identify inefficiencies and drive solutions.
• Oversee accreditation activities and regulatory compliance across laboratories.
• Supervise proficiency testing, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Manage QA/QC, data integrity, SOP accuracy, and training records.
• Plan internal/external audits and deliver actionable improvement insights.
