Job summary

Onterris seeks a Quality Assurance Director to lead the QA program at the Orange Laboratory. You will oversee the Quality Management System, support accreditation efforts, drive continuous improvement, and partner with operations to ensure excellence in all results.

You will guide QA strategy, mentor staff, manage non-conformances, and ensure compliance with EPA/TNI standards while advancing our mission to protect air, water, and soil.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years QA experience in an environmental laboratory.
• 2+ years leadership or supervisory role in QA.
• Experience with TNI and accrediting bodies.
• Technical expertise in environmental testing methods and data interpretation.
• Proficient in root cause analysis, statistical tools, and LIMS.
• Knowledge of USEPA, TNI 2016 Standard, 40 CFR.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA team with a culture of responsiveness and continuous improvement.
• Partner with laboratory leadership to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
• Uphold ethics, confidentiality, and regulatory standards across the QMS.
• Manage accreditations, regulatory updates, and relationships with accrediting bodies.
• Oversee QA/QC, data integrity, and SOPs to ensure compliance and quality.
