Job summary

Onterris is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate I in Orange, CA to support reliable laboratory operations and data integrity. You will perform audits, CAPA tracking, and training support to ensure regulatory compliance within a TNI 2016/ISO 17025 framework.

The ideal candidate has a science degree and 1+ year in a lab QA role, with strong communication, organization, and Microsoft Office/LIMS proficiency. This onsite position offers growth in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific field is required.
• 1+ years of relevant laboratory or quality assurance experience.
• Strong understanding of scientific terminology and lab procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication with editorial and proofreading abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with lab teams to gather, interpret, and document data.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with LIMS and data visualization tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track or verify laboratory equipment per SOP and manufacturer specs.
• Review logbooks and data to ensure GDP compliance.
• Initiate non-conformances and oversee CAPA actions.
• Collect and interpret QC data; create control charts and audit reports.
• Conduct internal audits of processes and facilities; prepare reports.
• Draft and revise SOPs, forms and controlled documents; ensure timely communication.
