Job summary

SERVPRO Industries, LLC is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer in Information Technology to join our team. You will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend systems, and drive performance testing to ensure reliability across services.

You will define test strategy and quality standards, mentor junior QA engineers, and collaborate with developers, product managers, DevOps, and stakeholders to embed quality into the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of hands-on QA automation and performance testing experience.
Proficiency with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git), and Agile/Scrum environments.
Mentor and lead junior QA engineers and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Knowledge of security/compliance testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend systems.
Develop and execute performance, load, and stress tests to assess system scalability.
Define and evolve test strategy, architecture, and quality standards across projects.
Track and report key quality metrics to drive improvements.
Introduce new tools and technologies to enhance automation and quality.
Collaborate with DevOps to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Communicate quality status and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentor junior QA engineers to foster growth and knowledge sharing.
Conduct security and compliance testing to ensure adherence to standards.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality-focused development practices.
Troubleshoot test failures and coordinate with engineering to resolve issues.
