Job summary

Grove Technical Resources, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to lead quality engineering for web and mobile solutions in a regulated medical environment.

You will define test strategies, build maintainable automation, and drive product quality across the full software lifecycle. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, security, DevOps, and product teams to ensure compliance, traceability, and robust test coverage, contributing to continuous improvement of test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in software/test engineering or related field.
• Experience testing web, mobile, APIs, backend services, or distributed systems.
• Experience authoring software verification artifacts, including test strategies, test designs, test cases, and test results.
• Experience using source control, defect tracking, build pipelines, and continuous integration practices.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex software and system issues and communicate findings clearly to technical and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and execution of software verification and test automation solutions across web, mobile, APIs, backend microservices, and integrated systems.
• Define test strategies, plans, risk-based verification, and release-quality criteria per requirements.
• Design, develop, debug, and maintain production-grade automated tests and reusable frameworks.
• Translate requirements into traceable test designs, cases, automation assets, and evidence.
• Validate frontend UIs, backend services, APIs, databases, and messaging workflows.
• Implement automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests as needed by risk.
