Medtronic Neuroscience is seeking a Software Development Engineer II in Test to join our team in the U.S. You will design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests to ensure quality across medical device software.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, designs, and code throughout the software lifecycle. The role requires 2+ years in Java development and testing, experience with automated testing, and familiarity with CI/CD and Agile methods in regulated

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 2+ years of software development or software test engineering experience.
• 2+ years of Java development and testing experience.
• Experience with automated software tests and test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for software verification activities.
• Author, review, and execute test protocols for automated and manual testing.
• Analyze test results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Review software requirements for testability and traceability.
• Participate in software architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Investigate defects and support issue resolution across teams.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and quality teams during development.
• Identify and implement test automation improvements.
