Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to support enterprise-wide testing for complex systems. You will develop and execute automated test strategies, mentor teammates, and drive automation across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 4–7 years QA experience with automation, strong scripting skills, and excellent communication. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (relevant experience can substitute).
• 4–7 years QA experience or equivalent education/experience.
• 3+ years QA automation experience.
• Ability to work on multiple projects across development/testing stages.
• Able to create and maintain automated test scripts with limited supervision.
• Ability to assess application landscape and drive automation strategy.
• Proven business, infrastructure and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, detail-oriented and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and management of automation frameworks like Robot Framework and Playwright.
• Mentor other QA team members on tools, processes and QA methodologies.
• Drive planning, coordination and details of multiple QA projects.
• Investigate and recommend automated test approaches for new/updated products.
• Communicate complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure QA standards are maintained by reviewing automated test scripts.
• Experience with AI tools and building QA skill sets for automation and manual testing.
• Demonstrate competence with testing tools, processes and standards and apply them to projects.
• Create and execute manual and automated test plans to meet usability and performance requirements.
• Review results and document defects to ensure quality.
