Job summary

TechDigital Group in Coppell, TX is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 7+ years of QA testing experience to drive test automation across multiple projects and releases.

You will design and maintain automation frameworks for API and UI testing, participate in test planning, develop test plans, and deliver daily progress reports with QA management.

Responsibilities

• Participate in test planning to determine which tests to automate and which to execute per release.
• Manage day-to-day automation repository and CI environment ensuring scripts run reliably in target environments.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for API and UI based testing.
• Develop comprehensive Test Plans for projects and releases.
• Contribute to in-Sprint test automation of test cases.
• Provide daily progress reports and escalate testing or automation issues as needed.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Will participate in test planning to determine which test cases to automate and which ones to execute for each project/release
• Manage day to day automation repository, and the CI environment ensuring the test scripts run without error in the target environment with the support and direction from QA Management
• Development and maintenance of automation framework(s) to support API and UI based testing
• Development of Test Plans
• Participate in-Sprint automation of test cases
• Daily progress reports and escalates any testing or automation issues
