Job summary

MORTGAGE ADVICE BUREAU LIMITED is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our Technology team and strengthen test automation across a modern microservices platform. You will drive automation strategy, improve coverage and support scalable, release-ready software.

In an Agile environment, you will collaborate with Developers, Product Owners and DevOps to embed quality from design through release, balancing complexity with pragmatic delivery and owning automation initiatives.

Qualifications

Experience testing web-based applications.
Knowledge of UI automation with Selenium.
API testing experience using Swagger.
Experience using test planning and tracking tools.

Responsibilities

Lead automation across delivery stream and improve test frameworks.
Build and maintain automated test suites for API, integration and UI.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable deployments.
Partner with Engineering and DevOps to shift‑left quality.
Analyze defects and communicate testing outcomes.
Carry out targeted manual testing for complex scenarios.
Use SQL for data validation and end‑to‑end testing.
Collaborate with stakeholders to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
