Job summary

LTIMindtree invites applications for a QA Engineer - Cypress in Irving, TX. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated Cypress test suites, participating in agile sprints, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure quality across releases.

The candidate will design test strategies, execute regression tests, and report results with clear documentation. A strong emphasis on communication and adapting priorities in a fast-paced environment is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in testing.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a functional tester.
• Experience in designing and implementing automation test frameworks, test scripting, test suite execution and test reporting. Experience with Selenium, Java, Cypress; JavaScript is a key expectation for this role.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively across product lines and departments to enable functional testing and work closely with the engineering team to build tooling and automation.
• Deeply understand test methodologies such as agile, functional, integration and regression testing.
• Manage and run the QA cycle within the agile development process and help close sprints.
• Assist product management with UAT cycles and regression testing.
• Build reliable automated test suites that run in CI and nightly builds.
• Have basic understanding of automation and performance testing.
• Maintain discipline with attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication.
• Triage issues by impact and coordinate fixes in a distributed development environment.
