Job summary

Bestgate Engineering, LLC is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of a large system. You will develop robust automated test suites for UI and API, working with a cross-functional Agile team of software developers, system engineers, and product owners to validate functional enhancements.

The role requires 4+ years in test engineering, experience with Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD; 2 days of telework are available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Test Engineer in test engineering or integration of modern hardware/software systems.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated UI and API tests using Cypress.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and/or TypeScript for automated test script development.
• Experience testing modern web applications and RESTful microservices/APIs.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in Agile software development environments.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience using Git and version control systems.
• Ability to independently design, develop, execute, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test suites.
