Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking an Automated Test Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API tests with Cypress. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and a strong background in QA within an Agile team.

You will work closely with software developers, system engineers, and product owners to validate features, ensure quality, and support modernization of authoring and dissemination tools while integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cypress for automated UI and API tests
• Testing modern web apps, RESTful services, and APIs
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and tools
• Experience with Jira and Confluence in Agile teams
• Version control with Git

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test scripts using Cypress
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and document defects
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD)
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies to ensure test coverage for new features and fixes
