Job summary

InterImage is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to support a data distribution and validation system. You will design, implement, and maintain automated UI and API tests using Cypress, and ensure quality, reliability, and performance in a fast-paced Agile environment.

The role collaborates with software developers, system engineers, and product owners, participates in sprint ceremonies, and contributes to CI/CD integration with GitLab. An Active Security Clearance with Poly is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, writing, and maintaining automated tests with Cypress.
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript for test scripts.
• Experience testing web apps, RESTful microservices and APIs.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence in Agile settings.
• Experience with Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated UI and API test scripts.
• Execute tests, analyze results, document defects and metrics.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD).
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies to ensure coverage for new features and fixes.
