GenLogs Corp. seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to unite senior QA judgment with engineering skills, delivering automated integration and end-to-end tests across ReactJS portals and Python/NextJS APIs.

You will leverage AI tools to generate tests, build two-tier testing (PR mocks and real-backend E2E), and integrate tests into CI/CD, owning the release gate and data validation with SQL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software QA experience, with at least 3 years focused on test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with E2E frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
• Solid experience with API and integration testing (pytest, requests, Postman, or similar).
• Proven, practical use of AI tools to write, maintain, and scale automated tests.
• Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and test data management.
• Experience with test data strategies, including seeding, isolation, and handling non-idempotent operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with remote-working effectiveness.

Responsabilités

• Learn the GenLogs platform end to end: products, data flows, customers, and the freight domain.
• Define clear acceptance criteria before development starts.
• Translate business rules and specs into test strategies, cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Design, build, and maintain automated integration and E2E test suites across ReactJS portals and python/NextJS APIs.
• Build and evolve two-tier testing: fast PR mocks plus scheduled E2E tests against real backends.
• Use AI coding agents to generate tests, expand coverage, triage failures, and keep suites healthy.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines as regression gates protecting releases.
• Own the release gate: define quality criteria and report risk with go/no-go.
• Validate data accuracy using SQL against large-scale datasets.
• Investigate defects and provide precise reproduction steps and root-cause insights.
• Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to raise quality standards.
• Track quality metrics and reduce flaky tests and coverage gaps.
