Job summary

Reputation, a Silicon Valley-founded platform, seeks a QA Automation Engineer II to expand automated testing across the SaaS stack. You’ll partner with Engineering, Product, and QA to build scalable tests and contribute to AI-assisted quality initiatives, improving release confidence and coverage.

You will develop tests for web apps, APIs, and integrations, while staying current with AI testing technologies and best practices within a fast-paced, remotely distributed team.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in software quality assurance, automation testing, or quality engineering.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites and automation frameworks.
• Strong software development background with proficiency in one or more of: Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go.
• Familiarity with automation technologies such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, PyTest, Robot Framework.
• Working knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native applications, Agile, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications, APIs, integrations, and platform components.
• Contribute to AI-assisted testing initiatives to improve test creation, execution, and maintenance.
• Build automated customer journey tests validating critical user workflows.
• Enhance automation frameworks for reliability, maintainability, and test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate with engineers to resolve defects.
