Job summary

ENFOS is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET to join our Quality Engineering team in Durham. You will own testing strategy and drive end-to-end quality for features, combining manual, exploratory, and automated testing with Playwright-based solutions.

You will mentor peers, collaborate with product and engineering, and help raise testing standards across the platform. The role emphasizes AI-assisted testing and scalable QA practices in a fast-growing enterprise SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software QA or SDET roles.
• expert-level Playwright experience.
• Experience testing REST APIs and backend integrations.
• Proficient with GitLab and CI/CD practices.
• Strong Agile and debugging skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own testing strategy for new features through production.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual, exploratory, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Develop and maintain Playwright automation; perform API testing.
• Build and maintain tests within GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze requirements to identify gaps and risks before development.
• Perform root-cause analysis and rapidly resolve defects with developers.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and QA processes.
