Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Sr. QA Analyst (Project Hire) to lead testing efforts for Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology.

You will define testing coverage, collaborate with product owners and automation engineers, and participate in all stages of the development lifecycle. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in QA, strong communication, and experience with API testing and automation.

Qualifications

5+ years of QA experience.
BS/BA or equivalent work experience
Clear communicator for coordinating with stakeholders
Ability to meet deadlines and identify defects quickly
Experience with QA tools and platforms (ADB, Xcode, Charles Proxy, Postman, SOAtest, Selenium)
Familiarity with Jira or Github
Understanding of QA practices and testing methodologies
Experience in API test automation and leading QA for releases

Responsibilities

Create and execute test cases and plans; reproduce and document defects with steps.
Participate in sprint plan reviews and lead test plan discussions.
Communicate defects to stakeholders and lead test sessions.
Develop test plans, cases, and QA documentation.
Coordinate geo‑distributed QA team members and ensure integration.
Collaborate with automation teams to develop and improve automation tests.
