Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology seeks a Senior Manager of Quality Engineering to lead and scale the organization’s testing efforts across commerce, data, and advertising systems in California. You will drive strategic, operational, and technical leadership to deliver robust automation, reliability, and measurable product excellence at scale.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation.
5+ years of managing managers or multi-team organizations.
Experience scaling quality functions in complex, cloud-native, high-scale environments.
Expertise in CI/CD and modern test automation frameworks.
Strong communication and mentoring skills.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/work experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop multiple quality engineering teams and leaders, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.
Set the technical direction for large-scale test automation architecture and cloud-native solutions.
Develop and execute the quality engineering strategy across multiple product groups, balancing innovation and risk.
Partner with senior leadership across engineering, product, data science, and business teams to report on quality metrics.
