Job summary

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a skilled QA Analyst II to join the quality engineering team. You will define and execute testing coverage for consumer-facing applications, collaborate with product owners, automation engineers, and external teams, and participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle.

You will execute test plans, write reproducible steps, and help translate manual tests into automated scripts.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in related field.
3+ years of relevant QA experience.
Clear communicator (written and verbal) to write test plans and communicate bugs to developers and stakeholders.
Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables to quickly identify defects.
Experience with QA tools and platforms (ADB, XCode, Charles Proxy, Postman, SOAtest, Selenium).
Familiarity with issue tracking software like Jira or GitHub.
Excellent understanding of software quality assurance practices and testing methodologies.
Experience with API test automation processes and frameworks.
Experience writing test cases, test plans and overseeing QA processes in Agile teams.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with collaborative communication.

Responsibilities

Execute test cases and plans; reproduce, regress, and document defects clearly.
Participate in sprint plan reviews; lead test plan reviews with peers and developers.
Effectively communicate defects to stakeholders and lead test sessions with delivery teams.
Develop test plans, test cases, and other QA documentation; translate manual tests to automated scripts.
Coordinate with geo-distributed QA team members to ensure full integration.
