Job summary

DocMagic, Inc. is seeking a QA Analyst to join our team. The role requires independence to handle multiple priorities, write and execute complex test cases, and provide feedback on product quality, usability, and design.

You will perform manual and API testing, including SQL/MV data validations, and work with tools like Postman and Jira. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of testing experience, familiarity with SDLC, and knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in manual and/or API software testing.
• Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle and both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Mortgage industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed test cases for enhancements and bugs.
• Execute test cases on local machines and emulated environments.
• Compare test results across environments and platforms.
• Log defects with detailed steps in Jira and justify improvements.
• Create test data manually and via tools like Postman.
• Execute API tests using Postman.
• Learn the system through training and documentation.
• Run queries against SQL and MV databases.
• Review logs to confirm system function and perform after-hours validation as needed.
