Job summary

DocMagic, a leading provider of digital solutions for the eMortgage industry, is seeking a QA Analyst. The role focuses on writing and executing detailed test cases, performing API tests with Postman, and logging defects with clear steps for fixes.

The candidate will work independently, manage multiple priorities, and validate system behavior across environments. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of manual and API testing experience, strong understanding of SDLC, and familiarity with SQL or

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent in related field; CS preferred but not required
• Minimum 3 years' experience in manual and/or API software testing
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies
• Experience testing with SQL or multivalue databases
• Experience with functional, integration, system, sanity testing

Responsibilities

• Write detailed test cases for enhancements and bugs
• Execute test cases on local machines and emulated environments
• Compare results across environments and platforms
• Log defects with steps and justification in Jira
• Create test data manually and via tools like Postman
• Execute API tests using Postman
• Review logs in Graylog and Sentry to verify system functionality
• Perform after-hours production validation as needed
