Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in the Corporate Sector's Model Delivery and Platform Engineering team seeks a Lead Software Engineer Python GenAI to advance trusted, scalable technology products. You will be a core technical contributor and drive critical solutions across multiple functions.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Advanced development experience in Java or Python, with debugging/troubleshooting skills for complex production issues.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/other clouds and container platforms/orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Experience building scalable data processing and Big Data/ETL pipelines (e.g., Hortonworks, AWS-based solutions).
• Working knowledge of core infrastructure and the ability to troubleshoot networking technologies/issues.
• Deep proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, enterprise architecture, and toil reduction with SRE practices.

Responsibilities

• Designs, codes, tests, and delivers automation (including LLMs/agents) to streamline AO workstreams and remediation tasks.
• Governs application risk, controls, and compliance; drives remediation and evidence management.
• Owns security and data accountability for the application including authentication and data handling.
• Coordinates across product and engineering to prioritize and drive execution at scale for AO workstreams.
• Runs resilient production services end-to-end: monitoring, secure configurations, and incident/change management.
