Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in the Corporate Sector's Model Delivery and Platform Engineering team seeks a Lead Software Engineer Python GenAI to advance trusted, scalable tech products. You will be a core technical contributor designing automation including LLMs, driving security, data governance, and incident readiness.

You will collaborate across teams to prioritize AO workstreams, implement reliable production services, and champion AI-assisted engineering practices with secure coding and testing

Qualifications

• Formal software engineering education or certification.
• 5+ years applying software engineering in production.
• Experience with Java and Python at scale.
• Cloud (AWS) and container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers automated solutions incl. LLMs/agents to reduce manual work.
• Governs risk, controls, and lifecycle management with evidence.
• Owns security, data accountability, and proper data handling.
• Coordinates across product and engineering to drive AO workstreams.
• Runs production services with monitoring, incident management, and recovery.
