Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer Python GenAI in the Corporate Sector's Model Delivery and Platform Engineering team. You will be a core technical contributor designing and delivering trusted, scalable technology with strong security and operational controls.

You will drive AI-assisted development, improve reliability, and collaborate across engineering teams to align execution with business objectives.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience.
Advanced development experience in Java or Python.
Hands-on experience with AWS and container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS).
Experience building scalable data processing and Big Data/ETL pipelines.
Working knowledge of core infrastructure and networking troubleshooting.
Deep proficiency in reliability, security, and toil reduction with SRE practices.
Proficiency with monitoring and telemetry tools (Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk).
Experience leading AI-assisted software development and secure AI adoption.

Responsibilities

Design, code, test, and deliver automation (including LLMs/agents) to streamline remediation work.
Govern application risk, controls, and compliance; align with firm standards and drives issue closure.
