Job summary

Mimica is an AI-powered process intelligence platform that helps enterprises reclaim time by automating tasks and optimizing workflows. We are a remote-first, globally distributed team solving complex problems with a strong focus on data-backed decisions and scalable ML infrastructure.

We are looking for Senior+ Engineers to lead Python backend development, shape architecture, and mentor others while collaborating with data scientists and ML engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Senior/lead responsibilities and ownership of projects.
• Strong Python and backend engineering skills.
• Experience with async/concurrent programming.
• Experience owning projects end-to-end (speccing, architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring).
• Mentoring others and improving team processes.
• Fluency in English and ability to communicate complex ideas.

Responsibilities

• Write Python applications that are robust and integrate with a service-oriented architecture.
• Mentor teammates to improve developer experience and coding quality.
• Build observability for ML apps and GenAI/LLM integrations (Grafana Stack).
• Develop integrations with Google Services and cloud resources.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers throughout productionizing models.
• Respond to incidents affecting ML apps (CPU/memory/GPU triage).
• Document procedures and guides for knowledge sharing.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding new team members.
