Job summary

JPMorganChase in Houston is seeking a Software Engineer III to design and deliver scalable, secure analytics software within the Data Analytics team. You will work with data scientists to deploy ML models on cloud platforms, ensuring production readiness and SDLC compliance.

You will build Python-based applications on AWS, contribute to architecture, and collaborate across engineering and platform teams to advance AI-enabled solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in Python application development.
• Experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and secure coding.
• Understanding of responsible AI in engineering workflows.
• Experience in large corporate environments with modern programming languages and DB querying.
• Participate in code reviews and agile planning sessions.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions.
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables, while validating outputs through peer review and automated testing.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, secure applications using Python and AWS.
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
• Integrate AIML solutions into complex, domain-specific operations processing systems.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and technology events.
