Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proven hands-on experience in Python application development.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to critically evaluate AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to tackle non-routine problems.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Leverages AI tooling to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity; contributes to peer reviews and testing.
• Develops and maintains cloud-based Python applications on AWS.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts and ensures design constraints are met by code.
• Gathers, analyzes, and visualizes data to support continuous improvement of software and systems.
• Integrates AIML solutions into domain-specific operations processing systems.
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events.
