Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Data Analytics team within the Commercial & Investment Bank. You will collaborate with data scientists to build cloud-based frameworks for hosting ML models, ensuring production readiness and secure coding standards across SDLC processes.

The role emphasizes programming in Python, deploying on AWS, and integrating AIML systems into domain-specific operations while working with platform teams to deliver scalable, reliable software

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proven Python application development.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI outputs for correctness and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and data sensitivity considerations.
• Experience in coding across large corporate environments with modern languages and DB querying.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions with design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Leverages AI-assisted tools to improve code quality and delivery speed; includes peer review and testing.
