Parser seeks a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to join a client delivery team working on search platforms for a major retailer. Build Python backend services, APIs and data integrations powering scalable search tooling.

Collaborate with AI, data science and DevOps to deploy production-ready code, ensure reliability and security, and evolve the platform with a focus on performance. Spain-based with flexible remote work.

Formación

• 6 years of professional backend or software engineering experience.
• Strong Python backend development and REST API design skills.
• Experience with CI/CD, cloud, and scalable data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Kafka, and data security practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build Python backend services and APIs for search tooling.
• Refactor and productionise existing components for CI/CD deployment.
• Translate product requirements into well-structured, testable code.
• Integrate services with data platforms, client APIs and search infra.
• Collaborate with AI, data science and DevOps teams to productionise features.
• Support production systems, incidents, and architecture decisions.
