Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Python Backend Engineer to build the control plane of a system that orchestrates its own code and AI interactions. You will implement durable workflows with Temporal, design agent adapters, and craft robust data models in PostgreSQL to track run state, provenance, and evidence.

The role demands strong backend experience, deep Python expertise, and a background in context engineering and tool mediation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Python proficiency; Go acceptable as a secondary language.

Responsibilities

• Build the control plane and backend services in Python, including workflows and adapters.
• Implement durable workflow orchestration using Temporal or equivalent.
• Design agent adapters and tool mediation to securely handle credentials.
• Use structural code retrieval to compile minimal context.
• Model PostgreSQL data structures for run state, versions, and provenance.
