Job summary

Nearform is seeking a Senior Python Engineer based in Canada with authorization to work without sponsorship. You will design and build Python applications, leveraging modern AI frameworks while contributing to AI initiatives across projects. Frequent travel to client sites in the U.S.

Qualifications

8+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
Deep knowledge of Python and modern AI frameworks.
Experience with AI application development and LangGraph/Agentspace.
Practical experience in agile environments.
Strong version control with Git and testing across levels.

Responsibilities

Support design, development and maintenance with quality standards within the project team.
Define structured practices for source control, building and deployment.
Design and implement data storage solutions.
Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
Gather feedback from users/clients and build solutions.
Analyze client requirements and translate to technical tasks.
Collaborate with Technical Leaders to ensure timely delivery.
Work with client teams to achieve project goals.
