Qualifications

• 2-7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with additional languages such as Java, C#, or Go.
• Backend or full-stack experience with production systems.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go).
• Ability to navigate and debug large multi-file codebases.
• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and migrations.
• Advanced English written proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Debug and resolve issues across complex, multi-file codebases.
• Implement new backend or full-stack functionality on projects.
• Refactor and migrate existing systems as needed.
• Develop and extend unit and integration test suites.
• Write clear technical specifications and reference implementations.
• Review code and technical submissions for correctness and quality.
• Identify edge cases and potential failure modes.
• Ensure alignment between requirements, code, tests, and outputs.
