Job summary

Draper is seeking a Senior Electronic CAD Designer in Cambridge, MA to create complex PWB layouts and support the development of high-density boards. Qualifications

• Requires an associate's degree or certificate from a two-year technical school in applicable discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and skills.
• Formal education in electronics or electrical circuit theory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists electrical engineers with the design and layout of electrical hardware, primarily printed wiring boards (PWBs)
• Works on moderate to highly complex PWB designs and associated documentation
• Regularly interfaces with DFM engineers to define and implement fabrication criteria ensuring manufacturability
• Assist engineers with constraint editing and entry
• Regularly communicates project status and issues to management
