Job summary

Draper is seeking a Senior Electronic CAD Designer to create moderate to highly complex PWB layouts and assist in developing high‑density PWBs. You will interpret schematics, collaborate with engineers, and ensure manufacturability with DFM feedback.

Requires 10+ years in PWB design or drafting, with an associate degree or equivalent. Cambridge, MA location. Security clearance may be required; base salary detailed below.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate's degree or certificate from a two-year technical school.
• Formal education in electronics or electrical circuit theory is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in PWB design or technical drafting.

Responsibilities

• Assists electrical engineers with the design and layout of PWBs.
• Works on moderate to highly complex PWB designs and documentation.
• Interfacing with senior staff and management on projects.
• Provides feedback on processes and work instructions.
• Collaborates with DFM engineers to ensure manufacturability.
• Communicates project status clearly to stakeholders.
