Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage tax, audit and PWA/renewable energy engagements with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes supervising Staff, expanding client relationships, and increasing team profitability within the Tax/Audit practice.

Primary focus areas include prevailing wage compliance, ITC/PTC projects, and supervisory duties while developing technical expertise in PWA and renewables. Strong accounting knowledge and CPA progress are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; 2-3 years of public accounting experience.
• CPA exam progress or CPA license is a plus.
• Strong accounting and tax knowledge; excellent communication skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
• Conduct engagement reviews and manage responsibilities.
• Supervise Staff Accountants and mentor junior team members.
• Develop client relationships and improve profitability.
• Pursue CPA license if not already obtained.
• Perform research and provide data-driven recommendations.
